[Fogado's trying not to be too pushy when it comes to Alcryst, knowing how easily scared off he can be, but even so he can't help but worry after him when he hasn't heard from him for nearly a week. So here, a message out of the blue:]

Hey Alcryst! It's me. How's everything going?

Prince Fogado...?

[Alcryst sounds more tired than normal, but not anything worse than that.]

I'm sorry for making you check in on me. I've been fine.

[brightsandstorm]

You didn't make me do anything. I just wanna make sure my bestie's okay.

You are okay, right? [He did pick up on the tiredness, but he isn't commenting on it right away.] You'd tell me if you're having trouble?

[The hesitation before Alcryst answers is probably enough to give him away. He might as well come clean, not even considering how guilty he'd feel hiding things from Fogado.]

It's been a few days since I've touched anyone.

[brightsandstorm]

Oh, right. That's a bad thing here, isn't it? [He should probably worry more about that himself instead of being so laid back about it, oops.]

Well, I know a guy who can lend you a hand. Or two!

Normally I wouldn't ask you for something like that but... I'm sure I'd trouble you more if something happened. So, I'm sorry.

[He does at least know that Fogado would be really upset if he were to become a statue.]

Seriously, don't sweat it. It's not like it's something either of us can help, it's just how this place is.

Plus, it gives me an excuse to hang out with you more. I know partying all the time isn't your scene. Though speaking of scenes... Where are you now, exactly?

[He'll give Fogado the address! Come visit him.]

Gotcha! I'll be right over.

[Or over as fast as he can be, given he's not too familiar with the area. Eventually, though, Alcryst will hear a knock.]

[Alcryst will let him in. He looks... not great, actually! Much paler than he should be.]

Come in, please. What's mine is yours.

Oh, sure. [Fogado looks visibly startled when Alcryst opens the door. It seems the Brodian prince was understating his condition by quite a margin. He steps inside, glancing around the apartment before turning on his heel and focusing back on Alcryst.]

I, uh, I'm just going to come out and say it: you look awful.

[There's a delivery to Alcryst's apartment from a not-so-secret admirer: a package wrapped in glossy gold wrapping paper, with a bow on top and a single white rose tucked into it. Inside the package is a gift box filled with a selection of different candied fruits, all half-dipped in chocolate. There's also a handwritten note:]

Hey Alcryst! Happy White Day!

I heard this is like Valentine's Day, but a month later. I was really happy to get to spend that day with you before, plus our time together since, so here's my way of showing how much I appreciate you.

He's alright if it's quiet, though he's still getting used to being around people...

He's very energetic. I was just thinking that he might need friends, but I can't get any more from the vending machine and Fogado is already dedicated to his horse.

[It's not unusual for Fogado to rise and head out early -- he goes to feed and tend to his horse at the local stables, and take her out for some exercise. It's also not unusal for Fogado to leave Alcryst a note, though today it's a little different to the usual, short and to the point.]

Meet me at the airship docks at sunset today. It's important!

[What could this be about, Alcryst wonders as he approaches the docks. It's probably not bad news, because Fogado wouldn't spring that on him in public... But he's Alcryst, so he can't help but worry anyway.]
