[Fogado presses a kiss to Alcryst's hair, enjoying their closeness. Never in a million years would he have imagined things would move this fast, but Alcryst evidently has a way of surprising him. They say Brodians are fearless both on and off the battlefield, but the younger prince is truly in a league of his own.]

What I love even more is seeing you happy. You deserve so much, Alcryst.

[Alcryst wouldn't call himself fearless in any capacity. But he trusts Fogado completely - with his back in combat, with his heart, with his body.]

Well - you're the best person at making me happy, so that shouldn't be a problem?

[Even if he doesn't agree about what he deserves.]

[That kind of trust doesn't come anywhere near as easily to Fogado, and that's perhaps why it seems so courageous.]

Of course it's not a problem. Everything I do, I do for the people I love.

[And maybe for the sake of a good party, but details. He shifts to sit up properly, still feeling blissed out and content, but he can't just lie on the floor all night.]

I'm gonna go get cleaned up, if you want to join me?

[Maybe if Alcryst hopes really hard that he missed it, Fogado won't notice how bright red he turned at the word 'love'.]

[His clothes are left dumped around the floor by the couch, and he gets to his feet, stretching. Either he's totally oblivious to how flustered Alcryst is, or doing a very good job of pretending he hasn't noticed.]

I assume they're all the same, but I'd love to have them at home...

[Alcryst stands up, trying to think about how cool Ellipsa technology is and not how Fogado just said the L-word.]

[They enter the bathroom, and Fogado switches on the light (another feature home could definitely benefit from).]

Same. I thought the Somniel was amazing, but stuff here is on a whole new level.

If we had phones at home, we wouldn't have to put our message carriers in danger. ...And people could always ask you where you were.

[Not sure if Fogado would think that was a good thing or not, but his friends might appreciate it.]

Nothing wrong with being a teeny tiny bit elusive, is there?

[How else is he supposed to sneak around places? He plays around a little with the shower and manages to figure out how to turn it on.]

[They won't always be on the Somniel together, and they have responsibilities to their countries... but Alcryst wants to stay close to Fogado emotionally, if not physically.]

[He steps into the shower, letting the hot water run over his face and hair before he steps aside a little.]

[Alcryst joins Fogado in the shower. He's probably allowed to appreciate the way Fogado looks with the water running down his skin, considering, but he still feels a little embarrassed to be gawking so openly.

He reaches for the soap to start washing Fogado's back for him. He's been in a communal bath before, and this is sort of like that, right? Except about a hundred times more intimate.]

[Solm Palace has some beautiful shared baths -- on the rare occasions Fogado is actually at the palace to enjoy them -- but otherwise getting clean in the desert probably means finding an oasis or relying on the sea. Which, in turn, means Fogado is completely unbothered by Alcryst looking, even without the intimacy they'd already shared.]

Oh, that feels nice. Thanks. [He braces his hands against against the wall of the shower, so he can hold still for Alcryst.]

It's really nothing. [Scrub scrub scrub.]

Someone sold me 'shampoo' for cleaning hair and I've been using it for a few days now. Would you like to try it? It seems to work better than what I have at home. -Also, the kind they sold me is rose-scented.

'Shampoo'...? Sure.

[He still needed to find oils for his hair that rivalled the stuff he used in Solm, too, but that's a worry for another time.]

How do I use it?

You pour a little into your hand and lather it up, before putting it in your hair, like this.

[He starts to massage it into Fogado's scalp. If nothing else it certainly feels nice.

Ahh, I could get used to this. It really does smell like roses.

[He ducks his head a little so Alcryst can reach more easily, closing his eyes. Prince or not, he's not actually used to getting pampered when he spends so much time trecking around deserts.]

It really does. They sell different kinds with different scents, but roses are my favorite.

[which is definitely the main reason Fogado will send him a rose later and not romantic intent, right]

Really? I love roses too!

[Yet another thing they have in common...! He'll have to remember that. Once he's sure his hair is good and shampooed he rinses it out, guessing that's probably the right thing to do, and grabs the soap so he can start scrubbing down Alcryst, starting with his chest.]

You really are cute, you know. I'm a lucky guy. [Maybe a Brodian warrior would prefer to be called differently to 'cute' when their physique is being touched and admired, but Fogado isn't Brodian warriors.]

[It's not 'handsome' or 'manly' or other princelike adjectives, but it makes Alcryst blush all the same. Even more so because it's coming from Fogado.]

Y-you're really too kind to me, Prince Fogado. But thank you?

[The 'prince' is back now that he's not distracted by sex.]

Are you back to sounding nervous already? C'mon.

[Fogado draws him closer again, just enough that he can press a (admittedly wet, they are in the shower) kiss to his forehead.]

It's just me. You can relax.

Sorry. I'll try harder to relax.

[That's totally how it works, right.

He hesitates, then quickly and lightly kisses Fogado's cheek. Mwa.]

[Fogado smiles warmly at the kiss in return.] 'Trying hard' and 'relaxing' are two entirely different things, Alcryst. But, it's okay.

[He doesn't like him any less just for being nervous, and he's not trying to make him feel bad about it. He moves behind him to start soaping his back next. Maybe it will feel enough like a massage to get him to relax a bit.]

-That's a very good point.

[Fogado washing his back does feel very nice, and a little of the tension leaves his shoulders.]

...Is it really alright just to call you Fogado?

Sure. The way I see it, we're not princes of anything here, right? We're not gonna forget about our homes, but we can also take it easy a bit while we help out. I know that's what the people of Solm would want.

[Despite relaxed appearances, Fogado's given the idea a lot of thought. Solm loves its easygoing, freespirited prince who doesn't stick to convention, so that's what he does his best to be for them. Loosening up even more in another world can't hurt, especially with how hard they've fought in the war.]

Aaaand, just between us, but I love how you said my name earlier. I wouldn't mind hearing that more often. [Fogado's getting awfully low where he's washing his back... and a hand sneaks onto Alcryst's ass, squeezing playfully.]
